Should food be weighed raw or cooked?

You can do it both ways, but you must use the type of weight (raw or cooked) you have chosen.

For example, in the nutritional plan that Fitia calculates, all weights appear in cooked, except for meats and oatmeal. The type of weight (raw or cooked) appears below the name of the food.

Then, in some foods in the database, you can find a row called "weight type". For example, in the case of chicken, the default weight type is "raw" but you can change it to "cooked". If you select raw, you must weigh the raw food and if you select cooked, you must weigh the cooked food.
